The New Forest Marque is proud to introduce the newest member of the team.  Ambassador for the New Forest Marque James Golding, Group Chef Director of The Pig’s five ‘Restaurants with Rooms’ across the south, who is keen to help spread the word about New Forest Marque and local produce.

James has volunteered to support the Marque as Ambassador and will be working with us to promote local produce and to raise the profile of the New Forest Marque.

The Pig Hotel is a New Forest Marque Member in their own right and works closely with Marque members who supply them with local produce – everything from Meat to Soap.  James says “The New Forest Marque fits perfectly with the ethos behind The Pig brand.  Sourcing hyper-locally, eating seasonally and preserving and enhancing produce to ensure year-round supplies”.

What cannot be grown in The Pig’s kitchen garden will be sourced within a 25-mile radius. Hampshire’s distinctive character and unique combination of ancient woodland and agricultural farmland, all within casting distance of the sea, means The Pig has access to some of the freshest local fish, amazing meats, award-winning cheeses and English wines in the country – many of which are celebrated and supported by New Forest Marque.
