The Bell Inn, New Forest, is delighted to announce their Head Chef will be sharing his cooking secrets with those visiting this year’s New Forest Show.

Head Chef, Mark Young, will be making is on debut on the Cookery Demonstration Stage, part of the Local Produce Market, on Wednesday 25 July.

Mark, who is Hampshire born and bred, will reveal a glimpse into the inner workings of his kitchen and his passion about using all the elements of meat and fish, to ensure nothing goes to waste. He’ll talk about how his nose-to-tail ethos and how to make the most out of the produce you buy by taking a chicken and creating three of the dishes that appear on The Bell’s menu.

Speaking of his upcoming debut, Mark Young said “It’s an absolute honour to be appearing on stage with such an esteemed line-up at what is the largest event in the New Forest this summer. I’m very excited about demonstrating how to use all the elements and respecting a product – it’s what really floats my boat. You shouldn’t be throwing anything anyway. As a member of the New Forest Marque, we’re truly spoilt with good quality food growers and suppliers in the area so I’m only more than happy to support them.”
