The Bell Inn’s first evening Christmas Fair
The Bell Inn, New Forest, is proud to announce it is hosting its first Evening Christmas Fair on Wednesday 30 November.
From 6-9pm, the 18th-century family-owned Inn will open its doors with a huge festive welcome and unique shopping experience.
With its open fires roaring and mulled wine available from the bar, the Inn will host a select group of locally-based artisans and producers as they showcase their wares, perfect for browsing for that ideal gift for a loved one or even just something new for the home! Exhibitors lined-up include: the renowned New-Forest artist Sandra Binney, Christmas Wreaths from Tussey Mussey floristry, New Forest Chocolates, a selection of Hampshire Open Studio’s artists including glass, ceramics and jewellery as well as some New Forest Marque producers including Hollyhock Flock.
For a bite to eat, the Inn’s autumn menu will also be available to serve up some warm and hearty options or early-birds can eat from their 2-course set menu for just £13 per person when dining between 5.30-6.30-pm. Booking is advisable.
The Inn is also delighted to welcome the New Forest Trust along on the evening. With the family having owned the Inn for over 200 years, the owners are proudly local and have strong connections to the forest, which is why it’s important to them to support those who also live within and enjoy the New Forest. As such, they’ve played a key and active role in championing conservation in the National Park and were founding partners of the New Forest Trust. To date, they have contributed over £27,000 raised from donations from select dishes on the menu and room bookings.
Proudly local, The Bell Inn’s focus is to welcome and spoil visitors like an old friend, offering locals and visitors alike, genuine hospitality, real ale and seriously good, high-quality food at great value – all within a welcoming setting of a friendly country Inn.
