It’s nearly time for our ‘Great New Forest Marque Breakfast’!

This Saturday we launch our 2 week campaign to bring the New Forest together for breakfast and we would love you to join us!

We’ve connected our New Forest Marque food producers with hospitality venues across the Forest who have agreed to host a special breakfast(s) made up of the finest local ingredients in celebration of the fantastic food we have on our doorstep!

The New Forest is home to producers who are intrinsically linked to the landscape and take pride in growing, rearing, baking and making delicious food. Commoners who produce high-welfare free-roaming meat, beekeepers whose bees drink nectar from the Forest flora, fishmongers who source from the shores of the New Forest’s coastlines, free-range egg producers, passionate fruit and vegetable growers, jam makers and more.

Breakfast is the perfect meal to showcase a range of this quality produce in one place, and the aim is to give everyone the chance to experience a truly local breakfast, and also demonstrate how easy it is to ‘support local’.

New Forest food and drink producers are up against the supermarkets but local produce is a better choice all round – less distance travelled so nutrients retained and less carbon footprint, traceable, higher quality as not mass produced, and shopping local helps to boost the nearby economy.

So far New Park Manor Hotel, Hockey’s Farm Cafe (breakfast pictured above), and the Countryside Education Trust are hosting bookable breakfasts, please click on the links below to book your tables:
