Conservation Awareness Day

Conservation Awareness Day returns to the historic village of Buckler’s Hard on the banks of the Beaulieu River on Sunday 12th May.

Visitors to the village can meet people from local conservation groups, discovering how they can protect the environment with fun activities and informative displays. The New Forest Marque will be there, promoting the fantastic range of local produce that’s available here, and promoting the sustainability benefits of shopping local.

Other organisations taking part include the RSPB, New Forest National Park, Wildlife Trust, Country Watch, Bird Aware Solent, Natural England, Maritime Archaeology Trust and many more. It’s set to be a great day out for all the family.

Entry to the village and Conservation Awareness Day is free. A small parking charge applies to those travelling by car.
