RSPB talk at Everton Nurseries

Learn all about birds with a fascinating talk from the RSPB at Everton Nurseries on Wednesday 23 February.

The one-hour talk starts at 3.30pm and will be followed by tea and cake!

It is free to attend but must be booked in advance as spaces are limited. If you would like to attend, please book your place by calling 01590 642155 option 3 (Monday-Friday).

If you miss out on this talk, see our full programme of free events running throughout the year in celebration of our Centenary (see our website for more details).

Founded in 1922, Everton Nurseries sells shrubs, perennials, trees and many other plants. A huge range of plants are grown at the nursery and around three quarters of the hardy plants sold in the garden centre are ‘home produced.’

Everton Nurseries is a member of the New Forest Marque, a food and produce scheme set up to champion businesses who pride themselves on producing and providing food, drink and crafts with clearly defined New Forest provenance. The Marque is awarded to produce which has been grown, reared, caught, brewed, produced or processed within the New Forest. When you #BuyLocal and #EatSeasonal you support the local community. Plus, local produce and products are better for the environment. Transporting goods around the world and powering greenhouses uses lots of energy, so opting to buy local reduces carbon pollution.

This event is being held in conjunction with the New Forest Awakening Festival which runs throughout February 2022. The Festival is about increasing people’s understanding of the issues in the New Forest and how we can all help respond to the nature and climate crises. Click here to find more Awakening Festival events.
