Trade in your toothbrush and grab a free drink

Visit The Naked Pantry in New Milton this month to trade in your toothbrush and get treated to a free drink.

We would like to help our community to think about making some small, yet very sustainable changes towards living a more plastic-free lifestyle.

We have a great opportunity to do this and help our local hospice at the same time.

All you need to do is bring in your plastic toothbrush or electric toothbrush head to be recycled and buy a new bamboo toothbrush or pack of eco-friendly heads.

When you have bought your eco-friendly replacement from us, we will treat you to a free drink form the menu in our sister cafe The Naked Quench. The initiative runs throughout February in conjunction with the New Forest Awakening Festival.

Funds raised from your recycled toothbrushes and brush heads will be donated to the Oakhaven Hospice.

We can all make small changes that collectively have a big impact. In today’s climate of caring for the environment those small changes can start and continue here. We look forward to seeing you and helping you take your first steps towards your more sustainable lifestyle.

The Naked Pantry and Quench is zero waste grocery shop and café in the New Forest. Find us at The Naked Pantry, Westcroft Parade, Station Road, New Milton BH25 6JG

The Naked Pantry is a member of the New Forest Marque, a food and produce scheme set up to champion businesses who pride themselves on producing and providing food, drink and crafts with clearly defined New Forest provenance. The Marque is awarded to produce which has been grown, reared, caught, brewed, produced or processed within the New Forest. When you #BuyLocal and #EatSeasonal you support the local community. Plus, local, seasonal food is fresher, tastier and better for the environment. Transporting food around the world and powering greenhouses uses lots of energy, so eating local, seasonal food reduces carbon pollution.

This initiative is part of the New Forest Awakening Festival which runs throughout February 2022. The Festival is about increasing people’s understanding of the issues in the New Forest and how we can all help respond to the nature and climate crises. Click here to find more Awakening Festival events.
