On Wednesday 14 February, couples who choose to pop the question at the New Forest hotel and restaurant – The Bell Inn – and subsequently choose to book The Bell Inn as their wedding venue will receive a complimentary Champagne wedding reception on their big day.
General Manager, Mark Pinn, has commented “February at the Inn, with our roaring open fire and candlelit corners is perfect for couples looking to enjoy some time together. The Inn has become increasingly popular for our relaxed, country-style weddings, so we thought we’d just have a bit of fun this Valentine’s Day and give cupid a helping hand!”
This year, the Inn’s indulgent Valentine’s dinner ‘a deux’ for just £95 per couple features seared scallops with crispy belly pork, curried cauliflower puree, succulent chateaubriand with watercress, beef dripping chips, brandy & peppercorn sauce and crispy shallots. Desserts include Black Forest Baked Alaska with chocolate sponge, griottine cherry and clotted cream ice cream, chocolate and cherry textures or Panko-crumbed Camembert, walnut-crumbed Isle of Wight blue, hazelnut-crumbed goat’s cheese bon bons, grape chutney, walnut bread and oatcakes, served for one or to share.
The Bell Inn host a number of New Forest weddings throughout the year. Happy couples can expect two AA rosette cuisine, stunning surroundings and if they’re lucky they may even be able to get a glimpse of some of the wildlife passing the front door of the Inn.
