Great Taste Awards 2024

Five New Forest Marque members won an astounding total of 11 awards at this year’s prestigious Great Taste Awards! In addition Lyburn Farmhouse Cheeses won the Oscars of the Food Industry -a coveted Golden Fork Award for their Stoney Cross. Absolutely outstanding!

Recognised as a stamp of excellence, Great Taste, organised by the Guild of Fine Food, values taste above all else. This year over 13,000 products were judged submitted from 115 different countries across the world.

⭐⭐ The New Forest Fruit Company‘s innovative pulse-dried strawberry snacks claimed two stars. Not only a delicious healthy snack but also great popped in a glass of bubbly. You can now pick them up in your local Waitrose.

⭐Hockey’s Farm Shop in Fordingbridge scooped an impressive THREE one star awards for their New Forest Free Range Rare Breed British Lop Pork products. Hockey’s also won an award for their New Forest Wild Venison and Crabapple Jelly sausages.

⭐We are delighted for The Real Jam & Chutney Company on their one star award for their beetroot and horseradish chutney. They do brilliant work with the Minstead Trust offering work experience in their kitchens for those with learning disabilities.

⭐The Noble Bee’s heather honey – made by bees in heather-rich New Forest heathland picked up a one star award. We can confirm it tastes amazing.

⭐⭐⭐Lyburn Farmhouse Cheeses picked up TWO of the rare three star Great Taste Awards for their Stoney Cross and Lyburn Smoked, alongside two stars for their Old Winchester. PLUS a few weeks later Stoney Cross won a coveted Golden Fork Award! The highest accolade in Great Taste Awards -there are only 16 Golden Fork Trophies awarded across the globe.
