Hockeys Farm Shop

We are offering a delivery service within 10 miles for anyone who is unable to leave their homes. We have bread, milk, fruit and vegetables, cheeses, eggs and cakes all available along with our butchery service. If you need delivery please email us at naturalmeats@hockeysfarm.co.uk with your complete wish list, name, address and phone number in the email. Once we have your order ready we will call you to process the payment over the phone and to advise you of the delivery time. We would ask for a minimum order of £25 and there may be a delivery charge depending on location – please email us for more information.

Welcome to La Perle @ Home – Delicious cuisine, prepared using fresh, local produce and delivered hot to your door.

Regretfully, we have no immediate plans to reopen as a restaurant. When we deliver, we take the upmost care and respect of everyone’s personal space and hygiene during this current pandemic.

 We always wear gloves and change them between customers. When we put the gloves on, we use sanitizer to rub over the gloves.

 We will leave the cider/items on the doorstep/safe place to uphold social distancing.

We can take Cash& Card Payments but to avoid any contact we can also offer Contactless Card Payments, Bank Transfers & PayPal orders.

 Hand written receipts are stuck to each box, individual amounts, total amounts & how it was paid.

When we make up orders, we wear gloves, which are changed for each individual order.

We have been inundated with enquiries etc over the last few days as our customers are looking for alternative ways to source our products. As a result we are offering a home delivery service while the farmers’ markets are not running:

We were thinking of ways that we could help and have decide to supply basic dry goods as well as fruit and veg boxes with our friends Country Fare.

This service is aimed at people that need it most, the elderly who can’t get out, family with small children and key workers who are fighting this thing on the frontline.   These products are available from our online shop, it’s on our website under store, we maybe able to get gold of other products so please ask us.

We are very aware that the elderly are not on social media so please share with your family members and elderly neighbours. We are looking at doing a delivery run on a Tuesday and a Friday.

We want to make this very clear we do not underestimate the current situation and we are not trying to become a supermarket, our prices are slightly more expensive than the supermarket but we are not doing this to make money but we are in a position to be able to help people and we feel that’s the right thing to do.

Please share this as far as you can to ensure those most vulnerable have food.

Fairweathers Garden Centre

We are delighted to be back open with our normal opening hours and are pleased to see all our valued customers again.

We have plenty of plants and gardening products, but you may wish to consider substitutes if your usual plants or brands are not available, as our suppliers are also working under constraints at this time.

For those still in isolation and unable to leave home we are able to deliver locally. Minimum spend and delivery charges may apply. We are also offering a Click and Collect service, with a limited range of plants and gardening essentials:

Strict social distancing measures are in place, to ensure your shopping experience is as safe as possible. Some product groups may not be accessible and areas may be taped off and we have introduced a one-way system.

We are restricting the number of people at any one time and therefore, visitors are limited to 2 per household.

Ringwood Brewery are delighted to have reopened their Brewery Store. Their new opening hours will be:

Stewarts Garden Centre

We are now open and have the following restrictions in place.

We have set an initial limit (as advised by the Government guidelines) of 75 Customers within the Garden Centre at Christchurch, with 45 at Broomhill and Abbey. We will review these figures on an ongoing basis.

We clearly have no idea how many people will turn up to shop, so have no idea how long a queue we might get. We therefore want to make the following statement to help visitors understand the position we might find ourselves in:

Firstly, we have been busy filling the Garden Centres with fresh stocks of Bedding Plants in particular and have plenty, so there is no need for people to rush down at once, we will be operating our normal opening hours. (we will NOT be open late nights on Thursdays for the time being).

Secondly, the Coffee Shops will NOT be open and nor do we expect them to be for quite a while.

Thirdly, we will NOT be allowing family groups, no dogs, and a maximum of one person and one child per trolley.

Fourthly, under normal circumstances we have always been a place to browse, meet friends, and calmly wander. Could we please ask that that is not how we are treated to start with (certainly not during the first phase) we do not want a queue of people outside waiting for people to leave who are happily just wandering around!

The first few weeks is about helping people get what they need to enjoy their Garden. Please understand. We can revert to being a community meeting place in time. Not right now!

Finally, we will expect everyone to abide by social distancing guidelines and take whatever extra precautions (e.g. wearing face masks) they wish.

We have been cleaning public areas, trolley handles, chip & pin machines and have wipes, and sanitiser points at the entrance and around the centres.

Please, please, please, help us make these next few days orderly and safe. We do not wish to have any ‘issues’ at Stewarts. We need this to run in a calm and orderly way as we start to try and emerge from this difficult period.

As a food shop we will remain open with safety as our top priority. Therefore, we are ensuring that we don’t have too many people in the shop at one time to allow people to maintain a reasonable distance from others.

We are currently not doing deliveries and instead focusing on providing a safe shopping environment in the Farm Shop.

• Have a shopping list – it might assist

• Maintain as a minimum 2 metres from all other people

• Be prepared if needed to wait in a well-spaced queue outside the shop

• And finally, please don’t panic buy

We are a craft distillery based in the New Forest producing a range of gins. Our award winning Wyrd (pronounced ‘weird’) dry gin is made with New Forest Spring Water, British grain spirit and the finest botanicals from around the world.  They are also producing hand sanitiser.

Their handmade organic cotton beeswax food wraps are a natural, washable and reusable alternative to plastic. The beeswax is derived from their own beehives at home in Martin, near Fordingbridge and other local New Forest Beekeepers.

Shaun’s design was inspired by the very moving event in the UK where people clapped for the NHS and all support workers to give thanks for their outstanding efforts to look after us all during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Shaun started a campaign on her instagram @shaunstevensart to encourage others to #giveback to others to do what they can to give back to those who have helped them, family, friends, their community and beyond.
