Introducing new Team Member Lucy Bramley

We are delighted to introduce our new Inspired Membership and Events Coordinator Lucy Bramley.

Lucy was one of the first artists to join the newly-created Inspired category of the New Forest Marque back in January 2024 under her artist name ‘Abundant Thinking’.

Lucy’s artwork mainly uses the medium of glass. She captures the tones and light of New Forest landscapes and seascapes, fusing the glass into pictures, ornaments, housewares and jewellery.

Lucy also makes needle felted pictures from merino wool – which is ideal for reproducing the textures and shadows of our moorlands and beaches. She also makes handbags and accessories from preloved fabrics.

Lucy is really excited to be joining the New Forest Marque Team, she said,

‘I’ve been an Inspired member myself now for over a year and love being in such a supportive community of creative people. Even in the short time I have been part of the Marque I have made some wonderful new friends, whom I have met through my membership of the group. Like other members I am passionate about championing local arts and crafts by finding venues to show off our creations, and by buying locally made items. I’m looking forward to meeting all our members, welcoming new joiners and growing the reach of our fantastic group.’
