Marlings Vineyard, based in Sway saw its Sparkling Rose Brut take the coveted prize of wine of the year at the Wessex Wine of the Year awards, along with Sparkling Wine of the Year and the Gold Medal. Its Bacchus Chardonnay 2018 took the bronze medal.

Marlings is one of the oldest vineyards in Hampshire and their aim is to make a range of wines that they are proud to share with everyone who enjoys the remarkable New Forest.

They produce high quality English sparkling wines, most notably their award-winning Sparkling Rosé made using traditional methods, and a range of still white and rosé wines.

They are a small team with a passion for wine-making and their head wine-maker, Piotr Nahajski, is a qualified viticulturist, with a masters degree in wine making.
