Say hello to our latest New Forest Marque member: Kristy Gray Designs

The New Forest Marque is delighted to welcome wood crafter Kristy Gray. Based in the heart of the New Forest, Kristy Gray Designs aims to create high-quality homeware and lifestyle items. All the timber she uses is sourced locally and sustainably from the New Forest.

Kristy’s passion for woodworking was ignited during lockdown whilst she was completing her art and design degree. The extra time spent at home during the pandemic enabled Kristy to start her own business – Kristy Gray Designs, and build a home workshop. Growing up and living in the New Forest has given Kristy an innate appreciation of the trees and nature around her. Knowing where and how the timber she uses is sourced is very important to her, and creates that organic relationship that inspires her to transform the timber into beautiful unique homeware. Sustainability and minimising environmental damage to the New Forest is at the core of Kristy’s creations.
