Welcome to the latest addition to the New Forest Marque – New Forest Venison Ltd.

No stranger to the Marque, former Chairman Dan Parsons has recently joined us with his new small enterprise. Acknowledging the problem of deer growing exponentially in the New Forest, Dan has set up New Forest Venison with the sole purpose of getting more people who live locally to enjoy and appreciate the tasty and sustainable meat.

With no natural predators the extensive grazing by deer kills trees and rare plants, thereby decreasing the biodiversity of the forest. Their numbers have to be controlled so Dan offers delivery of both butchered venison and whole carcasses, or if you have some land the option of culling services.

Dan says: ‘After 7 years working with the Marque community, I’m extremely excited to finally join the Marque as a member, supplying seasonal wild venison sourced exclusively from the New Forest. Their meat is tasty, healthy, sustaniable and Forest-friendly.  I guarantee quality from field to fork’
