Pannage Pork at Lisa’s Larder

Pannage is an ancient practice virtually extinct outside the New Forest and lasts for a minimum of 60 days when you can see up to 600 pigs go through the forest eating a totally natural woodland diet that sees them sweeping up the acorns creating a rich and delicious flavour to the meat.
We are very excited to have pannage pork back on our counter at Lisa’s Larder over the next few weeks, you all loved it last year, but remember when it is gone it’s gone!
Our pork is provided by Jamie Burgess in Bramshaw who also supplies our delicious Wild Boar.
