We are delighted to welcome handweaver and textile designer Emma Baker to our New Forest Marque Inspired group of artists and makers.

Emma’s beautifully crafted scarves, snoods and shawls reflect her passion for sustainability, traditional craftsmanship, and the natural beauty of the New Forest. Each piece is carefully designed and woven by hand, using natural fibres like merino lambswool, organic cotton, and silk.

Living on the edge of the New Forest, Emma draws inspiration from regular walks through its ancient woodlands and heathlands. She features seasonal colours and textures in her work on both rigid heddle looms and an 8-shaft floor loom.

Emma says joining New Forest Marque Inspired feels like a natural fit, aligning perfectly with her values of celebrating local provenance, community, and slow-made design.
