The New Forest Marque attends local Food and Drink Awards 2025

Earlier this week we attended the New Milton Advertiser & Lymington Times 2025 Food and Drink Awards at the Balmer Lawn Hotel in Brockenhurst. It was a first for these new awards and we were not sure what to expect but it turned out to be a lovely evening.

The New Forest Marque proudly sponsored the award for Food Producer of the Year, and handed the trophy to the well-deserved winner New Forest Ice Cream (pictured with Dan Parsons – Chair of the New Forest Marque). Prizes were also given to each runner up in their category – Ewelina’s Home Pantry and Cocoa Trading Company for Food Producer of the Year.

Our Chair Dan Parsons appeared on stage to present the award, and spoke passionately about the importance of championing local producers. He emphasized how it is vital that our New Forest food and drink community continues to support and celebrate each other.

We were delighted when Marque member Jen from Naked Jam won the Sustainability Hero category. A true testament to her continuous hard work to make her business sustainable and environmentally friendly.

Special mention also goes to finalists and New Forest Marque members The Commoners Larder, Ewelina’s Home Pantry and Miners Cider, plus all the other fantastic local businesses who took part.

It was a great night!
