Vacancy – New Forest Marque Chair of Directors
Do you have a passion for the New Forest? Have you the skills to champion local food and drink producers, craftspeople and artists whose products have a clearly defined local provenance?
New Forest Produce Ltd is seeking a new Chair to work with the board of directors and small operations team to take forward and grow the New Forest Marque local food and produce scheme. This voluntary role needs a passionate and energetic ambassador to promote the New Forest Marque, to lead its board of directors and inspire Marque members.
The role lets you make a real contribution to the Forest’s community, heritage and landscape, while working with the people who shape its character. It offers a valuable way to broaden leadership skills and build strong relationships across the Forest.
Our ideal candidate will share our love of the wider Forest area and understand the needs of small businesses. They will also have the drive and determination to help the New Forest Marque thrive at this exciting time, when local produce has never been more topical or sought after.
