We are delighted to have local artist Kathryn Dalziel join New Forest Marque Inspired – our arts and crafts branch of the New Forest Marque.

Kathryn draws and paints from observation, finding inspiration from the horses and landscapes from the place where her roots are – the New Forest. She loves to walk in the Forest and soak up Forest life, especially the wildlife and animals. Often taking her canvas and easel with her to paint what she sees. 

Kathryn’s style combines elements of impressionism and classical realism, focusing on the seasons and the ever-changing light. Depicting movement and energy with both broad and sensitive brushstrokes.

We asked Kathryn why she chose to join New Forest Marque Inspired? 

‘I have enjoyed visiting your exhibitions and supporting the local community that I am a part of. It is important to support local business it gives employment to locals and it keeps life in the villages. I am pleased to be one of your members.’
