In the absence of any natural predator the deer population needs to be controlled as their high level grazing can negatively impact woodland regeneration, as well as protected flora and fauna. Our venison comes only from NF wild Fallow deer. This larger box contains: 2 juicy fillet loin steaks, 2 sizeable rear shanks, 1kg diced, 1Kg mince and 2 packs of 6 delicious sausages.

All our wild venison comes from the New Forest. Venison is lower in fat than beef, rich in iron and contains the highest amount of protein that any other red meat. It’s therefore tasty, healthy, sustainable and forest-friendly!
